newfy puppy, turned 6 mths on Dec,22 ,now Jan 11, tried for 2 wks to spay no vet avail yet. earlier signs?
are there any signs PRIOR to going into Heat.I DO NOT want to breed, and have her ‘brother: litter mate here too!Can’t get her in till Monday the 14. Sorry can’t tell if vulva is swollen, don’t know what it looked like before, but she seems to have a strange odor….like hormones!
It is not very common for Newfs to come into heat at 6 months. None of mine have come in before 9 months, and average for the ones I have had is 13 months.
There will be signs, but I doubt her brother would have a clue if she came in now. he is very immature at this point also.
