Does anyone have any tips on grooming my Rottweiler/ Chow Chow mix’s tail?
I have inherited a Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix over the holidays and her tail is terribly matted. Doe anyone have any tips as to how to properly comb out her tail so that it is not like this?
I have bathed her and used plenty of conditioner on her tail and the dematting brush, but there is still LOTS more there!
Without opting for a haircut, the best tool I have is a cats grooming brush.
Little wire mat brush about 4mm long teeth. It takes the top off, but doesn’t get stuck. Sounds like it will take a lot of time, but it works on my Border Collie and she goes in with the sheep and comes home very scruffy.
