Dog Lovers Gift
What are some good gift ideas for a toddler who’s an animal lover?
My son is 18 months old and he absolutely loves animals, I mean real ones…especially dogs! What are some good gift ideas that are animal themed and that aren’t just the Walmart quality noise-making toys that have no imagination…and something less boring than a stuffed animal?! Thanks for any suggestions. 
Guess I should add that this is for Christmas gifts…forgot to say that! I guess it is a bit early to be shopping but we have a new baby on the way in December so I’m getting as much done now as I can!
This summer I took my daughter who is 2 to the Zoo & the Aquarium. To follow up on our trip I got her a bucket of aquatic animals. She carried that bucket all over the place & made us name the animals over & over again.
Toys R Us has different themed ones like the one below.
We also got her a puzzle by Melissa & Doug that uses a “fishing” pole to catch the water animal puzzle pieces. She loved it! And I didn’t have to spend much money. Now She knows all of the animal names.
