Dog Matte
Is it common for a groomer to nick/cut at dog with an extremely matted coat?
I just adopted a dog from a rescue and his whole body is one really bad mat! (he is also very underweight) I brought him to a groomer and she cut him 3 times and I wouldn’t let her finish because I felt so bad for him. Is this normal because you have to shave so close to the skin?
With severe matting and an abused, undernourished, nervous dog, it would not be unusual for the dog to get a few nicks on it’s initial trim & groom. If, after that, the groomer continues to nick it, I would begin to question the groomers ability to do the jog,
