How can you fit this on note cards?
i have a project in reading and i have to present and i have to use note cards. i just want to take what i typed and make it smaller so i can print it and paste it on note cards. what size would you make the print to fit the note cards? also the writing is in out -line form is that helps
Well, that’s going to depend completely on what you’ve written and how many note cards you can use. Is there a limit?
Here’s what I’d do. Go back to whatever application you used to write your presentation and re-save the finished presentation as a “notecard version”. Then, either change the margins to match the size of your note cards or change the printer settings to print onto note cards (commonly referred to as index cards) directly. Most word processing software will both options available.
Then zoom the document to “Actual Size” to determine how small is too small for your eyes. My guess would be that a 6 pt font is about as small as you’d wanna go.
Additionally, the font style you select will have an impact on readability. I feel that “Arial” is very readable because it is very simple. Many feel that “Times New Roman” is the way to go. Print out some samples and see what size and font you like best.
