Street Sign
Street sign?
A small concrete bollard in my street was recently removed and the sign it carried was put up on a nearby lampost. The sign is roughly square yellow with a black ‘H’ on it with some black numbers above and below the H itself.
I’ve seen these signs around for years but i’m curious as to what they are for.
Any ideas?
They designate where the nearest water hydrants are for use by the Fire Brigade.
